This survey is for those who produce still photos or illustrations and license some, or all, of their work as stock photography.
We are conducting a separate survey for those companies that are in the business of licensing rights for other image producers.
ALL INDIVIDUAL PHOTOGRAPHER INFO WILL BE KEPT STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL.
1 - With the first series of questions we are trying to determine the general income trends for photographers over the last
two years both in terms of gross photo income and income from stock photography.
We also want to determine the general trends of the RM and the RF sides of the business.
We suspect there has been a significant increase in the incomes of those producing RF and a decline for
those producing RM and are seeking statistics to either prove or disprove this theory. |

2 - In the second series of questions only report income that comes direct to you from one of more of the three major brands.
If another agency that represents your work generates some of the revenue you receive by using one of these three major brands,
but you are not paid directly by that brand then report the income as “Other”. For example, some photographers represented by Stock
Connection have images licensed through Jupiterimages, but these photographers are paid by Stock Connection, not Jupiterimages.
Thus, this portion of their income should be reported as “Other”. On the other hand photographers who are represented by PictureArts may be
paid by PictureArts, but that company is now a wholly-owned property of Jupiterimages and thus their income should be reported as part of
Jupiterimages. For the purpose of this survey PictureArts photographers should report all of their PictureArts income
for 2004 and 2005 in the Jupiterimages column even though the company has only been owned by Jupiter for part of 2005.
